Why Anchorage?
Brian has a desire to see lives radically transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ and believes planting new churches is one of the most effective ways to reach the lost. As Anchorage grows, so does the need for Gospel-centered, Bible-preaching, disciple-making churches. Brian and Rochelle responded to God’s call in their lives to plant a church, specifically on the Northeast side of Anchorage. With a significant military presence, the university’s and a diverse populace of unchurched people, this area is ideal to reach several demographics in meaningful ways.

With Jesus and the Word of God as the primary focus, we want to model biblical community that loves God and cultures of diversity.

Brian’s Story //
Brian accepted Jesus Christ at eight years old. His father served in the military, so Brian grew up traveling and was active in his church communities as a child and student. At age 25 he was called into ministry while serving in the United States Air Force. During active duty, he and Rochelle were heavily involved in student ministry at the base chapel. Brian’s call to church plant was born during his time as the Student Ministry Pastor at Cornerstone Church, where he has been on staff for over a decade.
